With the launch of LG’s 55-inch OLED TV, Samsung have decided to launch their version with Samsung 55 Inch Super OLED TV! The Samsung 55 Inch Super OLED TV will start a new age of smart TVs with its dual-core processor technology. The density and saturation of colors are separately controlled on the basis of pixels. This revolutionizing technology stands 9th in the list but it is sure to come with a huge price tag!
8. Apple iTV
The Apple iTV is already behind schedule and will hopefully be released this year. Apple iTV is a gadget which looks like a normal HD TV but the similarity stops right there. Imagine your TV is equipped with Siri. You can flip channels just by telling it to and not even touching the remote control. The internet connection in your TV enables you to watch all the movies you have on your PC thanks to the cloud integration or even go to YouTube when nothing interesting is coming on the network. The possibilities with Apple iTV are endless!
7. Apple iPad 3
With the new Siri equipped iPhone hogging all the limelight, public interest has decreased just a bit about the newer version of Apple iPad which is bound to come out this year. It has been dubbed as Apple iPad 3 or Apple iPad HD. With a mind-blowing 2048×1536 pixel display, the Apple iPad 3 will leave all thecompetition miles behind with the fantastic display. This feature will have a huge impact on the overall battery timing as well as the price tag. It ranks 6th in the Top 10 Most Awaited Gadgets 2012 list.
6. Google Nexus Tablet
After the huge success of last year’s Google Nexus 3, Google is hell bent on proving that the android experience on tablets is just as good as the phone which runs on it. They are launching the Google Nexus Tablet just to prove it! Though our experience does not say that is really the case for tablets, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich really is a pleasure to use and that is exactly what will be featured in the Google Nexus Tablet. Specs and details are yet to be confirmed but it already is clear that this is going to be a very difficult year for one particular competitor!
5. Microsoft Kinetic for PCs
Microsoft Kinetic for PCs would not be a new technology technically because it already is in use with the Microsoft Xbox and has been a huge success. So, the Microsoft Kinetic for PCs can be called a crossing over of technology from one gadget to another. This can revolutionize the way we interact we our Pcs and laptops and is currently 4th in the Top 10 Most Awaited Gadgets 2012 list. It is expected to be out in the markets before April 2012.
4. PS Vita
Just like the Apple iPhone 5, PS Vita was not launched last year despite all the hurrying up the guys at Sony did. This year, however, the PS Vita is bound to be released somewhere in the third week of February 2012. The specs remain the same as announced last year: Wi-Fi and 3G, a 5″ OLED multitouch capacitive touch screen with rear sensor as well as head detection and dual cameras aided by gyroscope and accelometer, guarantee full body involvement from head to toe! The rumor that the PS Vita can also be used as a controller for PS3 is yet to be confirmed.
3. Amazon Kindle Fire 2
Though it sounds odd that Amazon would release another tablet so soon, the new Amazon Kindle Fire 2 is much awaited this year as the last Kindle Fire really gave the Apple iPad something to worry about. This time, the Amazon Kindle Fire 2 would come out minus all the shortcomings we saw in the last version like missing volume rocker and other software issues. Unless Apple pulls a few neat tricks before this tablet is released, we are bound to see it cross the monthly sales of the iPad real fast!

Samsung has gone on from becoming the underdog of the cell phone industry to being one of the giants and the only true competition to the Apple products. The Samsung Galaxy 3 is all set to come out in the second month of 2012 and take over the market worldwide. The specifications sound too good to be true! The Samsung Galaxy 3 sports Super Amolded 1280×720 HD display with a 12 megapixel camera. it will run on a yet to be seen quad processor and the newly release Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

The number 1 spot of the Top 10 upcoming gadgets 2012, just like last year, goes to none other than the much awaited Apple Iphone 5. The present iPhone is the 4th generation model available in 3 types and has already done a big business worldwide. The reason Iphone 5 is the most awaited upcoming gadget is that so little is known about it and nothing can be believed. Nothing definite can be said about the shape and size of the new iPhone 5 but both Retina Display and Face time will be featured along with the newest sensation Siri.
